Store Policies

Saxony House Furniture has a wonderful group of professional sales associates that will assist you with your home furnishing needs, from in-stock merchandise to a wide array of custom order furniture. We offer competitively low prices and a large variety of major name brand furniture. We also deliver on our own trucks. From start to finish, we strive to make your furniture shopping a rewarding experience.

We accept credit cards from Mastercard, Visa and Discover. We also have a variety of financing options available from 90 days same as cash to 1 year same as cash with approved financing (see store for details). You may also pay by check or cash. A 20% deposit is required on all orders and the balance is due on or before delivery.
In-Stock Merchandise
Any merchandise that is on our floor or in our warehouse is considered in-stock merchandise. All in-stock merchandise is available for immediate delivery and will be scheduled for the first truck available in your area. In-stock merchandise must be delivered within 30 days unless layaway arrangements have been made at the time of sale.

Special Order Merchandise
Any merchandise that is custom made or has to be ordered because it is not in stock will be considered to be special order. Special orders are not subject to cancellation. All special orders require a 20% deposit which is non-refundable. Order times vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. We cannot guarantee delivery dates on any special order. Once we have placed a special order, it may not be canceled, returned or exchanged for any reason without loss of deposit.

Any merchandise that has not been delivered within 30 days will be considered a layaway. A 20% deposit is required to hold merchandise. Additional monthly payments of 1/3 of the balance are required and the original balance must be paid within 90 days. If payments are not received on time, the layaway is subject to cancellation. There will be no refund on orders held for more than 30 days.

Final Clearance/As-Is Merchandise
Any merchandise that is marked down for final clearance, that is marked discontinued, or as-is will be sold without warranty. All final clearance, discontinued, or as-is merchandise sales are final with no returns or cancellation. Any merchandise marked in this manner must be picked up or delivered within 30 days and does not qualify for any layaway.

We offer in-home delivery and set up on all merchandise unless marked otherwise. Our delivery team will move all new merchandise into place and complete any necessary setup that is required under terms of the sales agreement. If delivery is difficult because of tight doorways, hallways or staircases, we may ask you to sign a consent form alleviating us from liability for damage due to difficult delivery conditions. Due to liability, our delivery team is not permitted to move existing furniture or remove their shoes during delivery. Delivery schedules will be coordinated with the customer and made as convenient as possible. Deliveries are made between 8 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Due to a large number of deliveries, traffic delays and unforeseen problems, we cannot guarantee specific times. We will do our best to deliver within a 2 hour window and to contact you if our delivery time is running behind schedule. For the safety of our drivers, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule any delivery during inclement weather.
Delivery Fees
Saxony House Furniture's normal delivery area covers a 50-mile radius from each of its locations. Delivery fees are determined by area and distance from our delivery facilities. Delivery fees will be determined at time of purchase. Any delivery that is more than the 50-mile radius will be considered an out of area delivery and the delivery fee will be determined accordingly.

We cannot guarantee estimated delivery dates on any order. Delivery dates are based on standard manufacturers lead times and are subject to change. Saxony House Furniture cannot control delays from the manufacturers due to transportation, production, shortages or any other factor. We will not be responsible nor shall we compensate any customer for such delays. Orders may not be cancelled because of unforeseen delays.

Any order on in-stock merchandise may be canceled within 30 days of the original purchase date. After 30 days, in stock merchandise that has not been delivered will be considered a lay- a-way and subject to our layaway policy. Any order that is considered a special order or final clearance/as-is is not subject to cancellation. These orders will be subject to a loss of deposit to cover cost of restocking.

Returns and Exchanges
All returns and exchanges of in-stock merchandise must have prior approval and be done within 14 days of original delivery date. Returns and exchanges are subject to delivery and pickup fees to be determined based on delivery area. Any returned or exchanged merchandise must be returned in new condition. Merchandise being returned is subject to inspection. If there are any signs of wear and tear, scratches, stains or damage due to pets, the merchandise may not be eligible for return. Special orders and as-is merchandise may not be returned.

All refunds will be paid within 30 days of return or approved cancellation.

Information Accuracy
Saxony House Furniture reserves the right to make changes and corrections due to errors made through the selling process. We take the utmost of care to make sure that our information is accurate and correct. As orders are written and processed, any discrepancy will be reviewed and customers will be personally contacted regarding changes that may be necessary on an invoice.
